Role Overview:

As a Co-op / Intern at Brasfield & Gorrie, your responsibilities may include:

· Understanding Construction Processes: Gain insights into the various stages of the construction process, from setup to project completion.

· Quantity Takeoff & Estimation: Participate in quantity takeoff and quantity estimating to support project planning.

· Submittal Process Management: Work on maintaining logs, reviewing, and approving shop drawings and submittals.

· Documentation Preparation: Prepare transmittals for distributing project documentation to relevant stakeholders.

· Jobsite Support: Assist with jobsite setup, permitting, and project closeout activities.

· Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with preconstruction, project management, scheduling, VDC, and safety teams, as well as with subcontractors and owners’ representatives.


Education:

To be eligible for this position, you should have:

· Enrollment in Accredited College/University: Must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.

· Citizenship Requirements: Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

· Academic Performance: Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

· Availability: Ability to work 40 hours per week during the spring semester.

· Passion for Construction: Desire to pursue a career in the construction industry after graduation.
